This noble leafwing butterfly pin features the beautiful insect that is also known by its scientific name of Fountainea nobilis.
Noble leafwing butterflies have beautiful colors on the tops of their wings, while the undersides have colors that help them stay hidden among leaves or the bark of trees.
These butterflies can be found in Central and South America.
This hard enamel pin is 1.5" from tip to tip and features a lovely palette of blue, pink, purple and black.
The hard enamel is set on a highly-polished gold-plated metal and has two posts on the back.
