This beautiful Colorado Hairstreak Butterfly (Hypaurotis crysalus) enamel pin features the insect native to Southwestern parts of the United States and Northern Mexico.
These butterflies can be found on Gambel Oak trees which they use to lay their eggs, eat and grow then build their cocoons to later emerge as butterflies.
The hard enamel pin is 2" from tip-to-tip and set on a highly-polished gold plated metal.
